Notes:
At the OU our whole approach is geared to bringing out the best in you giving you opportunities for new career paths and important life changes. Are you up to the challenge? With your desire and determination, and our world class teaching and support, anything is possible. We have over 580 courses to choose from and most have no entry requirements. From business & management to languages, law & criminology to psychology. You can ‘build’ courses towards a qualification or just take a single course – it’s entirely up to you!
The OU can offer you the following qualifications:
- Certificates - Diplomas - Foundation degree - Degrees - Postgraduate qualifications
Studying with the OU is a great way to boost your career prospects. An OU qualification is highly regarded by UK employers as they understand that studying part time while managing work and personal commitments shows determination, adaptability, motivation and a high level of organisational and problem-solving skills – qualities that are in great demand.
You can also transfer credit. This means you may be able to count your previous study towards your OU degree, so you don’t have to lose what you’ve gained so far and means you can achieve your qualification faster! The OU has its own points system and you may be awarded credits for assessed study successfully completed at another university or any in-service studies/training.
The OU is approved by the MoD in support of the Enhanced Learning Credit Scheme. Our provider number is 1260.
