We currently have an opportunity for:

LGV1 Fitter, 40 hours, guarantee 50,competitive rates & benefits.

With over 100 trailers and 80 tractor units based out of the Spalding Distribution Centre, keeping these vehicles in excellent working order is one of our top priorities – which is where you come in.

Working with our professional workshop team, you will be ideally an apprentice-served technician holding a Class C+E Driving Licence. You will be responsible for repairing and servicing our fleet of LGV1s and trailers to the highest standard, highlighting any discrepancies to the relevant individuals. You will be trained to use all the tools in the well-equipped workshop and be required to use these in a safe manner, for both yourself and your colleagues.

As there will be liaison with a wide group of people, good verbal and written communication skills will be required, as will numeracy and attention to detail. You must be a good team player and commit to achieving team goals through actively contributing to teamwork. Honesty, integrity and openness will be key attributes.
