Do you remember why you became an engineer? Wasn’t it because you wanted to build something that you could be really proud of? Something of vital importance, that people use everyday and value for making life easier? If it was, you should talk to Network Rail.
We’re putting all our energy and experience into transforming Britain’s railway. And right now, we’re looking for electrical or electronic engineers to retrain with us and help deliver the rail infrastructure for the 21st Century and beyond.
You’ll help to build on the legacy of the great Victorian railway engineers, fusing it with the best of modern technology to leave a lasting legacy of your own. It’ll be no mean feat.
But we’ll equip you with a 9-month residential and on-the-job programme culminating in a post-graduate diploma in Railway Infrastructure Engineering. After which, you’ll work on some of the most challenging signalling and telecoms projects around.
We’re looking for HNC/HND-qualified electronic, electrical, or electro-mechanical engineers with solid experience in commissioning and running engineering projects. You’ll be commercially astute, resilient, confident and articulate whilst able to combine all the skills necessary to make an invaluable contribution to our work. Passion, commitment and resilience are vital in order to see things through to a successful conclusion.
