Kalyx has a long-term Home Office Contract to manage HMP Forest Bank in Salford, which holds 1160 adult males. Due to our expansion programme we are scheduled to become one of the largest local prisons in the country. We Offer job Opportunities for you to help us serve our community by:

An opportunity has arisen for a fulltime permanent administrator within the Offender Management Unit. This post is based within the OMU. It requires an individual who can liaise with relevant staff to ensure that offender needs are recorded correctly on OASys and ensure that offender records are updated and can complete other administrative processes.
Key aspects of the post
- To set up and maintain case files
- Highlight offenders serving 12 months and over and add to the data base
- To develop and maintain referral systems
- To develop and maintain systems for information sharing with internal and external partners, agencies and departments
- To organise and schedule meetings and appointments to keep appropriate records.
- To develop and maintain appropriate quality assurance systems
- To input relevant information to database/OASys as required
- To develop and maintain effective communication systems within the unit and with external and internal partners
- To develop and maintain sentence Plan review diary and critical date alert systems
- To liaise as necessary with other departments in order to effectively deliver to targets
- To attend and contribute to meetings both inside and outside the establishment as required
You will have
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Good I.T. skills in Microsoft pages
- Resilience - A calm but assertive manner to work against setbacks
- Flexibility - The ability to work across teams
- Organisational skills – an organised and methodical approach to work
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to respond to telephone enquiries in professional manner.
