Based at Livingston RDC, Bathgate

£7.52 per hour + Shift Premium
Day shift £7.52
Back shift: £9.40
Night Shift £10.00
5 hours guaranteed overtime at £14.64 per hour
KN Drinks Logistics Livingston RDC has a requirement for a number of Driver/Shunters with a clean LGV Class 1 licence and previous driving experience to join our fleet. A good knowledge of the national road network and a good understanding of providing excellent customer service are essential.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
Accurately completing all records of work and documentation e.g. tachos, driving hours etc., connected with transit of goods in accordance with legal requirements and Company regulations and standards.
Selecting routes, when required having due regard to weight, height and width and road restrictions, at all times with the emphasis of economy of movement.
Safeguarding, maintaining and fostering good customer relations.
Understands Company schemes for fuel, tyres, repair and recovery.
Acts in a manner using initiative and judgement, which will result in maximum benefit to the Company and the Company's customers.
Checking goods on and off and obtaining proof of delivery documentation, whilst ensuring security of vehicle and goods contained during transit to customer premises.
